Supervised by Jessica Callahan, LPC-S
Contracted by Magnolia Counseling Group
Avery graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Texas A&M University and later continued her education at Dallas Theological Seminary, earning a Masters in Biblical Counseling in 2020. Though she moved to Texas as a child, Avery still has deep roots in Georgia and an overall love for the South.
Avery’s private practice experience includes working with life adjustments, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, boundary issues, grief and loss, and trauma. Avery has a special heart for young women who are adapting to adulthood, largely borne out of her own experiences in her early 20s that led her to seek counseling.
Avery believes that the most important element of counseling is the relationship between a client and a therapist, and considers it a privilege to create a safe and empathetic place for clients to process life’s pain and experiences.
When she’s not at Magnolia, Avery enjoys traveling to the mountains or the ocean, reading a fictional murder mystery, cooking a new recipe for friends, or spending time with her husband, Caleb, and their cute pets.
